Kim's Video
A humorous, nostalgic tribute to film and video culture. As the era of streaming services led to the extinction of video libraries, one of the most popular and legendary stores in New York vanished. Kim’s Video inspired generations of cinephiles before it mysteriously closed its doors in 2004, and its gigantic and versatile film archive was sent to a small Sicilian village for “safekeeping.” Following the traces of the lost films, the filmmakers embark on a journey where the search transforms into an obsession. Fiction and reality begin to blend, and the whole story gets more and more absurd. (Sarah Adam)
