Una sombra oscilante (An Oscillating Shadow)

A resistance fighter, a filmmaker, father and daughter. The basis is Lucho's photo archive, created between 1970 and 1989 during his fight against the dictatorship in Chile and his eleven years of exile in Ecuador. In a voice-over dialogue, father and daughter comment on what is shown in the photos and the background of their creation, which is also part of the father’s life story. A film from the darkroom – in more ways than one. UNA SOMBRA OSCILANTE invites more reflection than explanation – on the (resistance) power of images, identity, reality, and fiction. (Anja Klauck)
