Siblings Hannah and Timothy grow up in a strict evangelical family and lead a seemingly happy life in their free-church community. But when Timothy falls in love with another boy and Hannah with the rebellious neighbor, they find themselves at a crossroads: do they stick to the values and rules of their family and parish or do they follow their feelings? The coming-of-age drama was awarded for best screenplay at the Hessian Film Prize and by the youth jury at the Max Ophüls Prize and was nominated for numerous other prizes. (Joey Arand)
