#19 We Are Here

(BALi, KulturBahnhof Kassel)

Past and present crises and wars overwhelm us every day. The suffering they evoke is unimaginable. Many wounds remain unhealed, hopes are disappointed and the inclination to give up becomes stronger. How has politics been inscribed in our bodies? How does it play into our everyday lives? And who takes care? And how? The program WE ARE HERE is meant to encourage people to become political with passion, humor and creativity. Not to retreat right now, but to dare something. (Theresa George)
