Starting with the scandal surrounding the killing of a giraffe at the Copenhagen Zoo, filmmaker Max Kestner embarks on a highly personal journey to explore humanity’s biggest questions: What is life? Where does love come from? Does consciousness even exist? And how does it all connect? With great curiosity and a healthy dose of humor, the film tries to unravel the mystery of existence, speaking with scientists from various disciplines and realizing that every answer raises at least three new questions about what holds the world together at its core.
