#19 Where the Wild Things Are

CN: Thematization of violence
Watch out, our imagination is playing tricks on us. Suddenly, dreams and reality intermingle: who am I, what is expected of me, and who do I actually want to be? Princess, sovereign, soldier? In this role play called life, we have to adapt and learn to imitate. Only then do we get what we want. Four works: an experimental animation, a hybrid feature film, a documentary essay, and a performative interview - they all dismantle this game of imitation and fantasy piece by piece. (Matti Ullrich)
