CN: Thematization of violence
Directed by two Israelis and two Palestinians, this powerful documentary features two of its directors as key protagonists. Basel Adra, a Palestinian from Masafer Yatta in the West Bank, faces the ongoing destruction of his village due to Israeli occupation. Yuval Abraham, an Israeli journalist, joins the local community in their fight against the demolitions. Spanning nearly five years, the film captures the villagers' persistent resistance against constant destruction. Despite the deep inequality that marks their relationship, Basel and Yuval find solidarity that helps them endure this devastating journey. (Senem Aytaç)
