There are many unspoken things in Huy’s family. Why does nobody talk about how the migration of his parents influenced the different generations? Why is it so hard to communicate? Why is the relationship between parents and children so complicated? Is there even a shared family history? And what about his own identity? In search of answers, he visits his grandparents in Vietnam and films their everyday life, their shared meals and conversations. While establishing a close relationship to them, he also tries to get closer to his parents.
