Is the feeling of belonging and comfort within one’s own body at the end of the journey worth all the pain and fear? This is a question that has repeatedly crossed Victoria Verseau's mind ever since she underwent gender confirmation surgery over ten years ago, shortly after which her roommate and closest confidante Meril ended her own life. In TRANS MEMORIA, Victoria returns to Thailand, accompanied by Athena and Aamina, who now find themselves in the same place and situation, waiting with hope for the surgery. A raw exchange of experiences between the trans women unfolds, rekindling Victoria's pain over the loss of her friendship.
